Our NCAA Mens Player of the Week is Penn State Nittany Lion, Nick Spillane. Earning a whopping 53% of the vote this week, the Junior attackman helped lift his team to a hard-fought victory over John’s Hopkins, and in a narrow defeat to the second ranked Maryland Terrapins.

Spillane is the second Nittany Lion to take home player of the week honors in the last three weeks, joining teammate Colby Kneese, as Penn State sits ranked 11thoverall in the country, and tied for second in the Big Ten conference. The win over Johns Hopkins was especially crucial, as the Big Ten foes continue jostling for power in the conference.

Tune in as Penn State takes on conference opponents Rutgers and Michigan in back-to-back matches, that will go a long way in determining the outcome of the conference, and national standings.
