Our NCAA Women’s Player of the week is Sam Apuzzo from Boston College. This is the second time this season Apuzzo has taken home the award, and with 51% of the vote this week, she continues to show why she’s one of the most formidable players in the game.

Individual achievements aside, Boston College finishes with its first-ever ACC regular season crown, and an unblemished 17-0 record, good enough for second overall in the nation.

Apuzzo lifted her team to a win over Syracuse, where her well-rounded effort earned her eight total points on five goals and three assists.

But Apuzzo continues to make an impact in ways that don’t stuff the stat sheet, as her defensive effort to cause a turnover with twenty-four seconds remaining helped lift her team to victory over the Orange.

See how the Eagles fare in the ACC tournament, as they square off with 8-seed Louisville in the year-end conference tournament on Thursday April 25th!
