With 58% of the vote this week, Maryland Terrapin midfielder Connor Kelly is the Inside Lacrosse player of the week!
With an impressive showing in Maryland’s 12-10 victory over Notre Dame in College Park, Kelly helped the Terrapins improve to a perfect 5-0 record, good enough to have his team ranked #2 in the country as of March 5th!
Kelly delivered an all-around performance, scoring three times and assisting on seven other goals, meaning Kelly scored or assisted on 83% of his team’s conversions! By staying out of the penalty box for the entirety of the game, Kelly consistently put his team in the best position for success while on the field, and was instrumental in helping Maryland squeeze out the 12-10 victory over the Fighting Irish.
Kelly even made a bit of history against Notre Dame, becoming the first Maryland player to register a 10-point performance in a game since 1979.
